About The Position

At TDW, the team works to ensure pipelines in communities operate safely and reliably, guided by expertise, experience, commitment, and care for customers, colleagues, and the community. The Data Analyst Trainee develops a basic understanding of pipeline design, operation, and integrity practices. The role learns to analyze pipeline data using TDW’s proprietary software and accurately evaluate in-line inspection data, producing comprehensive reports on the current condition of customer pipeline systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Ability to analyze visual-based data.
• Proficient computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic mathematics and science skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to learn new internal software programs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Visually analyze pipeline integrity threats, such as corrosion and deformations, using proprietary software.
• Attend scheduled meetings and trainings to stay aligned with current TDW initiatives and processes.
• Acquire the skills needed to obtain and maintain industry-required analysis certifications.
• Create reports that provide a comprehensive overview of pipeline integrity.
• Work under and meet strict deadlines.
• Coordinate with the software development team to identify bugs and support software enhancements.
• Work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
