About The Position

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics has a newly created opportunity for a Data Analyst of Revenue Cycle to work within both the Overlake Medical Center & MultiCare Health Systems. This position will be responsible for financial analysis related to existing operations, productivity, budget variance and new service development. Review and evaluate existing and new programs/services and offer recommendations for enhancement or improvement. Participate in the annual operating and capital budget development.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in financial analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with Decision Support System.
• Ability to understand medical cost structures as it relates to service line distinctions and revenue streams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and handle stressful situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• HFMA membership desired.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• EPIC experience - Clarity database highly preferred.
• Power BI - Query preferred.
• Excel - experience (moderated to advance) preferred.
