About The Position

The Data Analyst-Quality Improvement Auditor will collect and assess data, and identify trends and areas of needed improvement, to ensure measured success of the agency’s change management initiatives. This role involves implementing audit plans, conducting assessments to measure the success of change management and training projects, and creating detailed reports. The position also includes recommending and participating in performance improvement projects, developing and maintaining feedback surveys, collecting and analyzing data from various satisfaction surveys, and facilitating the development of satisfaction surveys and reports. Additionally, the role involves receiving and processing satisfaction survey requests, developing and maintaining inter-departmental relationships, leading interviews and focus groups, attending agency meetings to collect qualitative data, monitoring audit corrections, and using various tools to track timelines and analyze data. Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Use of data collection, audit, and survey tools, such as Excel, SurveyMonkey, etc.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one to three years of related experience or Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and three to five years of experience.
  • 2 or more years of data analyst/auditor experience.
  • Strong attention to details and critical thinking skills.
  • Problem solving and root-cause identification skills
  • Proven success working with management.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in trend analysis and identification.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
  • This position requires the use of a personal vehicle while conducting business and must possess a valid (Class C) California driver’s license.
  • Travel to Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys will be required.
  • English language skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools such Trello, ClickUp, etc. is preferred, but not required
  • Bi-lingual Spanish a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Implement audit plans, timelines, and procedures.
  • Conduct assessments to measure success of change management and training projects, and identify areas of needed improvement.
  • Create detailed change management assessment and trend reports, and other identified department specific assessments.
  • Recommend and participate in performance improvement projects, including but not limited to, developing and conducting trainings and other tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and assess feedback surveys and other methods of data collection.
  • Collect data, assess, and identify trends from various satisfaction surveys.
  • Facilitate development of satisfaction surveys, postcards, and reports.
  • Receive and process satisfaction survey postcard requests.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other departments.
  • Lead and facilitate interviews and focus groups, and attend agency meetings, to collect qualitative data.
  • Monitor audit corrections to make sure they have been completed.
  • Use tools to track timelines, responsibilities, tasks, etc.
  • Use audit tracking tools to collect and analyze data.
  • Other projects and/or duties as assigned.
