About The Position

Hill International is seeking a Data Analyst III in San Diego, California. This role involves executing ETL processes to assess client datasets and visualize data in an easily consumable way for business stakeholders. The analyst will perform data analysis, compile technical reports, interpret trends, and implement leading practices. This position will lead reporting and analytics projects independently, as well as lead and support departmental data process initiatives. A key responsibility includes developing thorough test plans to ensure the proper functioning of reports and data automation tools. The Data Analyst III will also provide program and project data visualization support services and may serve as a shared resource with other workgroups.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years relevant experience.
Experience with data management and visualization.
Ability to manage projects.
Must be local to San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

Executes ETL processes in order to assess client datasets, and visualize data in an easily consumable way for business stakeholders.
Performs data analysis and compiles technical reports and findings.
Understands the client’s industry and business, interprets trends, and learns and implements leading practices and metrics.
Leads reporting and analytics projects independently.
Leads departmental data process initiatives and supports interdepartmental data initiatives.
Development of thorough test plans, ensuring proper functioning of reports and data automation tools.
Provides program and project data visualization support services and may be a shared resource with other workgroups.
