About The Position

Spring Health is a global mental health company dedicated to removing barriers to mental health support. Their AI-native platform offers personalized care across various services, validated by research. The company is seeking a customer-centric and detail-oriented Data Analyst II to join the Customer Reporting team. This role, reporting to the Director of Data Science and collaborating with Product and Customer Success, will focus on delivering custom and standard reports to showcase Spring Health's impact to clients. Responsibilities include supporting ad hoc requests and dashboard development, refining storytelling strategies, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts. The position is hybrid, based in San Francisco, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. Candidates must be in the San Francisco metro area or willing to relocate within 90 days. Occasional travel for team on-sites and company events (up to 25%) is expected. The ideal candidate is passionate about using data for impact in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills and ability to effectively query data across many sources
  • 3+ years of working experience with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Focus on impact, finding the things you can deliver that deliver the most value for your stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Humble, highly motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Passion for successfully navigating ambiguous problem areas and learning new approaches

  • Ability to travel periodically (<25%)

Responsibilities

  • Delivering analyses and dashboards to customers and internal stakeholders they need to tell compelling stories about Spring Health’s impact
  • Diving into different data sources, quickly building expertise on what is possible, and developing creative solutions based on your stakeholder’s needs
  • Developing a deep understanding of our products and how we tell the story of their impact to customers
  • Collaborate with Product to inform how we evolve our customer data story and expand our standard suite of reporting
  • Surface opportunities to automate and scale commonly requested reports and data sets
  • Become an expert working with our data stack including Snowflake, Looker, dbt, and Hex
