About The Position

Spring Health is a global mental health company dedicated to removing barriers to mental health care. Their AI-native platform offers personalized support across various services. The company is seeking a customer-centric and detail-oriented Data Analyst II to join the Customer Reporting team. This role will report to the Director of Data Science and collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to deliver custom and standard reporting that showcases Spring Health's impact to its customers. The position involves supporting ad hoc requests and dashboard development. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. Candidates must be located in the San Francisco metro area or willing to relocate within 90 days. Occasional travel (up to 25%) is expected for team collaboration and company events. The ideal candidate is passionate about using data for impact in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills for querying data across multiple sources.
  • 3+ years of experience working with data, data visualization, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Focus on impact and delivering value to stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Humble, highly motivated, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Passion for navigating ambiguous problem areas and learning new approaches.
  • Passion for changing mental health care and alignment with Spring Health's mission.
  • Ability to travel periodically (<25%).

Responsibilities

  • Delivering analyses and dashboards to customers and internal stakeholders to tell compelling stories about Spring Health’s impact.
  • Diving into different data sources, building expertise, and developing creative solutions based on stakeholder needs.
  • Developing a deep understanding of Spring Health's products and how their impact is communicated to customers.
  • Collaborating with Product to evolve customer data stories and expand the standard reporting suite.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate and scale commonly requested reports and data sets.
  • Becoming an expert in the data stack including Snowflake, Looker, dbt, and Hex.
