About The Position

Garner is seeking an exceptional AI-Native Data Analyst to join their team and drive how data shapes business decisions at scale. This role will be responsible for turning ambiguous business questions into actionable metrics, dashboards, and deep-dive analyses, owning these processes end-to-end. The position is based in Garner's New York City office and requires working in the office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar data-centric role.
Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into data-driven solutions and work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Comfort working independently and owning reporting projects end-to-end.
Attention to detail with a bias toward automation and scalability.
Comfort with and excitement about building analytics, dashboards, and validating results using AI agents.
Track record of providing stakeholders with trustworthy, self-serve access to information.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or a comparable cloud warehouse) and SQL at scale.
Experience with dbt is strongly preferred.

Experience with a BI/visualization tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar).

Responsibilities

Own KPIs and dashboards end-to-end, managing the full lifecycle of analytics projects from scoping to delivery.
Partner with stakeholders to define how success is measured across Garner's products and operations.
Collaborate with the data engineering team to create maintainable pipelines that power reliable reporting.
Build a strong understanding of the analytical domain to independently drive meaningful insights.
Identify reporting gaps and proactively develop new dashboards and insights.
Advocate for best practices in visualization, documentation, metric consistency, and stakeholder communication.
Run deep-dive investigations into complex business problems for leadership decision-making.
