About The Position

Federal Staffing Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to work in Springfield, Virginia, supporting its client. The role supports the GPC Program by developing and maintaining an accessible, user-friendly metrics and reporting system based on data collected through GPC Assessments. The system is intended to serve leaders at all levels, provide standard reports, and enable interactive analysis and ad hoc queries for informed decision-making. It should use intuitive, accessible visualization tools. The analyst also identifies system enhancements and new capabilities, develops concept demonstrators and capability business cases, provides training as systems and capabilities enter operational use, and represents the GPC Program on technical teams or consortiums. A TS/SCI clearance is specified.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data mining.
• Demonstrated experience using commercial off-the-shelf statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or MatLab; desktop software such as Microsoft Office and Access; and the Windows operating environment.
• Demonstrated experience with software packages for advanced statistical analysis of operational data and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain (as stated in the posting).
• Ability to develop mathematical algorithms and applications in response to complex requirements.
• Ability to identify system enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, and capability business cases.
• Ability to provide training as systems and capabilities move into operational use.
• Ability to take leadership roles on technical teams or consortiums.
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work cooperatively and effectively as a team member.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with or on certification programs and policy development.
