About The Position

Excel Impact is hiring a Data & AI Analyst to turn data into actionable insights, scalable reporting solutions, and practical AI-powered applications. The role combines data analysis, business intelligence, AI-assisted development, automation, and emerging technologies to address business problems and produce measurable impact. The analyst will work with data sources and technologies including BigQuery, SQL, Tableau, Google Sheets, APIs, and Python. The role involves partnering with business and technical stakeholders to turn complex or ambiguous questions into structured analysis, recommendations, reporting solutions, or automated workflows. It also supports the organization’s use of AI and agentic workflows, using tools such as Claude Code, Google AI Studio, and other emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive processes, and improve how teams access and use data. The role reports to the Director of Data and has no direct reports. The compensation mix includes a fixed base salary, variable performance bonus, and transactional bonus. The position is remote/work from home, with a flexible schedule and company-provided computer hardware and software.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
At least 4 years of hands-on SQL experience in data analysis and/or business intelligence.
Strong experience with Tableau and BigQuery.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Experience with Vibe Coding, Claude Code, Google AI Studio, or similar AI development tools to accelerate analysis, development, research, and automation.
Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into practical analytical and technical solutions.
Strong communication and data storytelling skills.
Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of Tableau experience.
Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, MCP, LLM APIs, or AI-powered automation.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery or GCP APIs.
Experience developing semantic layers, analytical data models, metrics frameworks, or governed datasets.
Anthropic Claude Certified Developer — Foundations (CCDV-F) or equivalent hands-on AI development experience.
Strong interest in AI-assisted development, vibe coding, and emerging agentic technologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze and transform data using SQL, BigQuery, and Tableau to answer business questions, identify trends, develop insights, and support decision-making.
Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, KPIs, and analytical solutions.
Apply data visualization, data quality, and data storytelling practices.
Use AI-assisted development and vibe coding tools, including Claude Code and Google AI Studio, to accelerate analysis, reporting, development, and automation.
Enhance dashboards, reporting workflows, and analytical tools through AI automation to create efficient, scalable solutions.
Translate business questions into data, analytics, reporting, automation, and AI solutions.
Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve revenue, business efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
Explore emerging technologies and practical business applications.
