AI Data Analyst
About The Position
The AI Data Analyst transforms business questions and complex data into trusted analyses, dashboards, predictive insights, and responsible AI-enabled solutions. The role combines analytics, reporting, visualization, and emerging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and business performance. It is intended for a recent Master's graduate or early-career professional passionate about data, technology, and solving business challenges in a growing biopharmaceutical company. The role is based in Warren, New Jersey. Work arrangements, travel expectations, and onsite requirements are established based on business needs and company policy. The expected base salary range is $100,000–$130,000. Final candidates must complete a drug test and background check before employment begins. Aquestive is a drug-free workplace. Requirements
- Approximately 1 to 3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related field; relevant internships, co-ops, research projects, and graduate-level work may count toward the experience requirement.
- Experience delivering analyses, dashboards, or data products that influence business decisions and are used by nontechnical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience applying AI, machine learning, generative AI, or advanced analytics to practical business problems.
- A Bachelor's degree is acceptable with exceptional relevant experience.
Nice To Haves
- A Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical device, manufacturing, or another regulated industry.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders across functional areas to understand objectives, identify data-driven decision-making opportunities, and translate business questions into actionable analytical solutions.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and risks supporting operational, commercial, financial, and strategic initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Collect, cleanse, validate, and integrate data from internal and external sources to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable analytics and reporting.
- Use SQL, Python, and other analytical tools for ad hoc analysis, reporting automation, improved data accessibility, and business performance monitoring.
- Support forecasting, trend analysis, scenario planning, and performance measurement using statistical and quantitative techniques.
- Collaborate with Information Technology, Commercial, Market Access, Finance, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments on enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Assist in evaluating, developing, and implementing AI and automation solutions that improve efficiency, decision-making, and business processes.
- Explore emerging technologies, advanced analytics methodologies, and AI tools to identify opportunities that create measurable business value.
- Present analytical findings, recommendations, and business insights to technical and non-technical audiences through visualizations, executive summaries, and presentations.
- Participate in data governance, data quality, privacy, security, and compliance initiatives to support data integrity and responsible use of company information and AI-enabled solutions.
- Document data sources, methodologies, assumptions, and reporting processes to support transparency, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
