Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data administration, data management, CRM operations, or a similar data-focused role.
  • Hands-on Salesforce CRM experience, including experience performing data imports using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or comparable tools.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, text functions, and data-cleaning techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large data sets and high-volume data files.
  • Proven experience with data hygiene, deduplication, record matching, and reconciliation.
  • Understanding of CRM data structures and the relationships between leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a highly methodical, process-driven approach to work.
  • Ability to independently manage recurring data update cycles, competing priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Working knowledge of modern AI tools and demonstrated ability to use AI assistants or AI-enabled technology to improve data-related workflows and productivity.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adopt new AI and automation technologies as FPG's systems and processes continue to evolve.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within the hospitality or hotel industry, including familiarity with hotel brands, flags, management companies, and property-level data, preferred.
  • Experience with data quality or deduplication tools such as DemandTools, Cloudingo, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, AI-assisted matching/enrichment tools, or other AI-powered data capabilities preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data governance principles preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or relevant coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the health, accuracy, and completeness of client and customer data within our CRM.
  • Serve as the front line of FPG's data quality, managing large hotel data files from multiple sources and ensuring Salesforce records remain clean, accurate, current, and properly structured.
  • Ensure every lead, account, contact, and opportunity entering the CRM is appropriately vetted, deduplicated, mapped, and validated.
  • Manage recurring client and partner data updates, reconcile incoming information against existing CRM records, and identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact downstream teams.
  • Support FPG's sales, field operations, Customer Success, and analytics teams by ensuring they can rely on the underlying data they use to operate and make decisions.
  • Help FPG continuously improve how data is managed by identifying opportunities to use automation, AI, and emerging technology to make data processes faster, more scalable, and more accurate.
  • Continuously scrub, standardize, and deduplicate high-volume data files received from clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Match and merge duplicate records across accounts, contacts, and leads using established matching rules and sound judgment for more complex cases.
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards, naming conventions, and validation rules in partnership with the CRM administration team.
  • Process recurring data file updates by mapping incoming files against existing CRM records.
  • Update hotel-level attributes such as brand, management company, room count, region, and status accurately and on schedule.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between source files and CRM data, investigating and escalating conflicts or anomalies when appropriate.
  • Prepare and execute imports of field and sales data into Salesforce as leads, accounts, contacts, and opportunities.
  • Perform pre-load data hygiene and duplicate checks to prevent unnecessary or inaccurate record creation.
  • Use Salesforce Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or comparable tools to execute inserts, updates, and upserts with appropriate field mapping and error handling.
  • Validate post-load results and identify and correct errors promptly.
  • Serve as a primary steward of customer, contact, account, and lead data across the CRM.
  • Monitor data quality, including completeness, accuracy, consistency, and duplication, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Enrich records with missing or outdated information using approved data sources.
  • Document data management processes, mapping specifications, standards, and load procedures.
  • Use AI and automation tools to improve data cleaning, matching, enrichment, quality monitoring, and recurring workflows.
  • Evaluate new AI and automation capabilities and help identify practical opportunities to incorporate them into FPG's data management processes.
  • Partner with reporting and analytics teams to ensure underlying data is reliable, consistent, and appropriately structured.
