About The Position

INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in Huntington Beach, CA, is searching for a Data Account Manager to join our growing Genesis team! This is contract role through the end of 2026 with potential to be extended into 2027. We are a hybrid work environment, x3 days week in-office. Candidates must be local to SoCal. The Data Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the client’s automotive data infrastructure and identity resolution initiatives, website campaigns, and ensuring that the agency delivers quality work on time and within budget. This role needs to have experience in a (digital) agency or client services environment. The successful candidate should possess strong client management skills including, but not limited to, leading presentations, trouble-shooting problems, and critical thinking. They should be solutions oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent organization and poise. The candidate should have working-knowledge of identity resolution, data security principles and customer data management. The ideal candidate will also have experience running RFI / RFPs and is familiar with corporate procurments processes.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in a client services function within a Digital Marketing, Advertising or Business-related field.
  • Must have working-knowledge of identity resolution, data security principles and customer data management.
  • Knowledgeable in MS software, Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Strong presentation and communication skill
  • Strong project management skills and ability to develop and implement new processes
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Motivated team player
  • Ability to assess a situation and make sound judgment calls / recommendations
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, external partners, and internal teams
  • Know how to wear many “hats”

Responsibilities

  • Work with the client daily to identify needs and expectations
  • Provide frequent and detailed updates to Account leadership to flag potential issues and proactively problem solve.
  • Work closely with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering to access and define timelines, goals, and manage progress.
  • Identify key stakeholders and disseminate information as necessary
  • Present/communicate progress and outcome of projects to clients and determine best next steps
  • Facilitate internal and client reviews, update status documents, legal routing, contact reports, and meeting coordination
  • Show solid knowledge of the client’s business (including pricing, product, sales, marketing channels, strategies, and competitive landscape)
  • Oversee the efforts of junior staff
