About The Position

This is a long-term contract role supporting in-store display development that demands creativity, clear communication, attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration. This hybrid role averages 1-2 days a week in the East Hanover, NJ office. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of temporary pre-packed display programs from concept through retail execution, leading structural development for pre-filled displays, and establishing and managing program budgets. It also includes managing project timelines, demand planning forecast inputs, vendor bids, and co-managing the graphic design development and approval process. The Merchandising Manager will develop and publish sales material related to the national PPD / Shipper calendar and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, planning and CS&L teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Print Production and or Point of Sale display development.
  • A solid understanding of corrugated print and or display production and manufacturing process.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships, timelines, and budgets.
  • A passion for creativity, shopper behavior, retail trends, and brand storytelling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of temporary pre-packed display programs from concept through retail execution.
  • Lead structural development for pre-filled displays.
  • Establish and manage program budgets and determine financial feasibility, including margin and / ROI analysis.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful program execution.
  • Manage Demand Planning forecast inputs, including researching oversell/undersell issues.
  • Manage vendor bids, track project milestones, and proactively identify risks.
  • Co-manage the graphic design development and approval process, ensuring final graphics align with brand standards and retailer requirements.
  • Develop and publish all necessary sales material related to the national PPD / Shipper calendar.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, planning and CS&L teams.
