About The Position

Client is a vendor in the Public Safety Systems DAS industry. They have been awarded the installation and implementation of several IDAS Public Safety Systems for their customer who is doing work on a university campus. There will be 2 client employees and 2 cable technicians from TEKsystems. They are looking for our assistance in identifying an experienced DAS Installation Technician with experience with Coax cable to team up with their technicians to assist with the installation of these IDAS Networks. In general, the tech skills should include working at a new construction job site around other trades, working in tight spaces, own PPE, work on a ladder to pull coaxial cables through ceilings and risers, lift/move heavy objects (spools of cables and BDA), and have OSHA 10 certification. This technician should know how to conduct sweep testing and understand antenna's and how to orientate them. Ladders are 6-8ft tall.

Requirements

• Experience with Coax cable.
• Own PPE (Hard Hat, Gloves, Vest, Hard Toe Boots).
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to work on a ladder to pull coaxial cables through ceilings and risers.
• Ability to lift/move heavy objects (spools of cables and BDA).
• Bring own hand tools.
• Good with working in Malibu, CA.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with new construction job sites.
