About The Position

Seeking DAS Installers to support ODAS and IDAS installation projects throughout Virginia. Work environments include university campuses, stadiums, dormitories, commercial buildings, public safety systems, and new construction sites. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in DAS installation
  • 2+ years of experience in cable pulling and termination
  • 2+ years of experience in wireless system installation
  • 2+ years of experience in low-voltage systems
  • 2+ years of experience in fiber optics
  • Experience working with Wireless Access Points (WAP)
  • Experience working with Central office environments
  • Experience working with Distributed Antenna Systems (preferred)
  • Background in ISP cable or network installation
  • Troubleshooting and testing skills (DAS experience preferred)
  • Fiber splicing experience or willingness to learn (single-mode fiber is a plus)
  • Strong voice/data technician experience is acceptable
  • At least 1+ year of experience in low-voltage installation and basic troubleshooting (preferred for Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer)
  • Trade school education or strong mechanical aptitude (for Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer)
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools (for Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer)
  • Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented (for Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer)
  • Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and operating lifts
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Distributed Antenna Systems experience
  • Fiber splicing experience
  • Single-mode fiber experience
  • Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer: 1+ year of experience in low-voltage installation and basic troubleshooting
  • Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer: Trade school education or strong mechanical aptitude
  • Entry-Level / Lower-Level Installer: Basic knowledge of hand tools
