About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking two DAS Installation Technicians for a client in the Richmond, VA market. This company focuses on the construction and maintenance of in-building wireless access points for projects in the Federal, State, and Local government, education, transportation, and healthcare sectors. The role involves working on teams of 3-4, including a lead tech and 2-3 technicians, on various in-building projects over the next few years. The majority of DAS systems are coax and fiber based.

Requirements

2+ years of experience specific within the wireless space.
Low volt coax install experience.
Rack and stacking experience.
Dressing and labeling experience.
Hardworking and reliable.
Ability to problem solve.
Communication skills.
Willingness to learn and grow.
Team player.

Nice To Haves

Some fiber experience testing, terminating, pulling, splicing.
Actual DAS experience is a huge plus.
Experience with 1/2" coax, OEM's like: Corning, Commscope, SOLiD, ADRF, Mobile Access.

Responsibilities

Perform low volt coax install.
Rack and stacking equipment.
Dressing and labeling cables.
Fiber experience including testing, terminating, pulling, and splicing (a plus, but not necessary).
Work with 1/2" coax and OEM's like Corning, Commscope, SOLiD, ADRF, Mobile Access.
