About The Position
Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on the shift posted. The role requires working in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Jobs are fast-paced and involve repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40+ lbs, while Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment are expected. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks is required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Requirements
- Must have 3-Months operator experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months)
- Needs to be able to label, organize and align pallets in cooler
- Is required to become certified in both pallet jack and forklift operation
- Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required
- Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees
