About The Position

The Round Lake Area Park District Dance Program is seeking enthusiastic, skilled Dance Instructors to join their expanding team for Fall 2026. This role is part of a creative community focused on passion, movement, and artistry. The program aims to fill these positions by August 11, 2026.

Requirements

• Passionate dancers and teachers experienced in at least two styles
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for varying ages, levels, and learning styles
• Availability for evening and/or weekend classes

Nice To Haves

• Previous teaching experience preferred (especially with children and teens)
• Instructors with new styles and fresh ideas are welcome

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, high-energy dance classes
• Inspire students and support their growth and confidence
• Choreograph routines for recitals and performances
• Create a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
