About The Position
The Round Lake Area Park District Dance Program is a creative community where passion, movement, and artistry come together. As we expand for Fall 2026, we are looking for enthusiastic, skilled Dance Instructors to join our growing team. We aim to fill these roles by August 11, 2026. This role involves teaching engaging, high-energy dance classes, inspiring students, supporting their growth and confidence, choreographing routines for recitals and performances, creating a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Requirements
- Passionate dancers and teachers experienced in at least two styles
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for varying ages, levels, and learning styles
- Availability for evening and/or weekend classes
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching experience preferred (especially with children and teens)
- Instructors with new styles and fresh ideas
