About The Position

The YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic Dance Instructor to create a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where children can develop dance skills, build confidence, and express themselves through movement. If you enjoy working with youth and sharing your love of dance, we'd love to have you on our team! Requirements

Demonstrated ability to teach dance routines, specific to programming offered.
Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: CPR, AED, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including leading classes, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to be subject to all elements of weather and loud facilities.
