About The Position

Prepares, designs, and provides dance instruction to children ages 3 to 14, depending on the class, in a positive and safe manner. Choreographs dance production numbers for performance at end-of-session dance concerts. Paid preparation time is provided for each class taught. The schedule runs from January through May, with the option to continue working during the summer and fall.

Requirements

• Works well with children, youth, and staff members.
• Must be dependable and able to provide essential instructions.
• Employment is conditional upon passing a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Prior dance experience is preferred.
