About The Position
DivaDance is seeking a Dance Instructor/Choreographer to teach pop-music inspired, choreography-based dance classes. This role offers flexible working hours, professional development, leadership growth paths, and the opportunity to inspire confidence and build community in inclusive, all-levels classes. The instructor will teach original choreography to a variety of music, following a consistent DivaDance format. The ideal candidate has a big personality, experience creating choreography and teaching adults, and is highly responsive. This is a great role for someone looking to earn extra income while doing what they love. Completion of the online Instructor Development Program is required before teaching.
Requirements
- Experience teaching adults.
- Experience creating choreography.
- Reliable transportation to teach at studios near Queen Creek and San Tan Valley.
- Ability to submit a video of original choreography with application.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a former dance team, drill team, cheerleader, or fitness instructor.
Responsibilities
- Teach original choreography to clients using songs from various artists.
