Part-Time Dance Instructor/Choreographer
About The Position
DivaDance is seeking a part-time Dance Instructor/Choreographer to teach pop-music inspired, choreography-based dance classes. This role offers flexible working hours, professional development, leadership growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of a growing franchise organization. The instructor will teach original choreography to clients in all-levels classes, following a consistent DivaDance format. The ideal candidate should have a big personality, experience creating choreography and teaching adults, and be highly responsive. All instructors are required to complete an online Instructor Development Program before teaching.
Requirements
- Experience teaching adults.
- Experience choreographing for adults.
- Reliable transportation to teach at studios in McKinney/Allen/Plano.
- Ability to submit a video of original choreography with application.
Nice To Haves
- Former dance team, drill team, or cheerleader experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach original choreography to songs ranging from current pop hits to classics.
- Lead all-levels dance classes following the consistent DivaDance format.
- Create and present original choreography.
- Be responsive via phone/text.
- Complete the online Instructor Development Program.
