About The Position
DivaDance is seeking a part-time Dance Instructor/Choreographer to teach pop-music inspired, choreography-based dance classes. This role offers flexible working hours, professional development, and leadership growth opportunities within a values-driven franchise organization. The ideal candidate will have a big personality, experience creating choreography and teaching adults, and be highly responsive. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income while doing what they love. Instructors are required to complete an online Instructor Development Program before teaching.
Requirements
- Experience teaching adults.
- Experience choreographing for adults.
- Reliable transportation to teach at studios in McKinney/Allen/Plano.
- Must submit a video of original choreography with application.
Nice To Haves
- Former dance team/drill team/cheerleader experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach original choreography to songs ranging from current pop to classics.
- Lead all-levels classes following the consistent DivaDance format.
- Complete the online Instructor Development Program before teaching.
- Be responsive via phone/text.
