About The Position

This role involves operating processing equipment, preparing mixes, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring sanitation standards are met. The position requires adherence to safety and quality protocols, troubleshooting processing issues, and contributing to process improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience in food manufacturing or preparation.
  • Regular and prompt attendance during scheduled working hours.
  • Ability to pass post offer Drug and Background check.
  • Must lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Safely set up, inspect, and verify equipment for all start ups, run time, changeovers, and shutdowns.
  • Perform CIP, Panel Board, Batching, and Culture Tank duties in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct and verify equipment adjustments, evaluate issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans.
  • Set up and operate lines, tanks, and equipment using product specifications and standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare mix and conduct quality inspections during specified stages of processing using established forms and SAP business software.
  • Troubleshoot and correct processing issues.
  • Wash and set up lines and tanks for CIP.
  • Transfer bulk dairy products (raw milk, condense skim and cream).
  • Receive bulk chemicals.
  • Make yogurt mix and pasteurize the mix.
  • Ensure production lines are supplied with product.
  • Verify work areas are set up to begin sanitation process and schedule/initiate clean in place (CIP) process.
  • Direct and perform equipment sanitation and clean out of place (COP) duties.
  • Work to achieve goals that align with company strategies.
  • Demonstrate business expertise, build positive business partnerships, and assist in developing continued process improvement plans.
  • Report and take necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems.
