About The Position

This is a hands-on, seasonal, full-time position for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a hardworking team. No two days are exactly the same, and every shift helps keep one of Rhode Island's most recognized dairy operations running smoothly. As a Dairy General Laborer, you'll play an important role in the daily production process that keeps fresh milk moving from our farm to our customers.

Requirements

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly
• Push and pull milk wagons weighing 200–700 pounds with assistance
• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Work in cold, wet, and fast-paced production environments
• Safely operate around production equipment and machinery

Nice To Haves

• Prior dairy, warehouse, manufacturing, food production, or agricultural experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Move, handle, and restock milk containers, crates, and wagons
• Assist with packaging, labeling, dating, and capping dairy products
• Support daily production activities to meet customer demand
• Monitor equipment and report any operational concerns
• Set up, operate, and clean dairy production equipment
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Assist with equipment changeovers and production setup
• Help maintain food safety and quality standards
• Maintain clean and organized coolers, storage areas, and production spaces
• Follow sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Store and handle products according to established procedures
• Work closely with production team members to meet daily goals
• Communicate operational issues and production needs
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow
• Report quality or safety concerns immediately
