About The Position

The Dairy/Frozen Stocker helps maintain guest service and departmental operations in the dairy and frozen food department. The role involves stocking and caring for products, maintaining inventory and sanitation standards, assisting with deliveries, and performing front-end duties as needed.

Requirements

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to lift 60 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds constantly.
Ability to read and understand information and directions.
Knowledge of dairy and frozen food operations.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
Effective communication and guest service skills.
Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push and pull stock carts, and operate a pallet jack for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
Stock, rotate, and condition dairy and frozen products on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
Maintain a neat and safe work area so guests can shop without agitation.
Keep cooler and freezer overstock organized, inventoried, rotated, and dated.
Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation, and product handling.
Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
Order milk, eggs, and other dairy and frozen products to maintain proper product levels, rotation, and inventory control.
Maintain organized ordering paperwork and follow stock-loss documentation procedures.
Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in cooler and freezer areas.
Perform front-end duties as necessary to uphold the “no noticeable wait” standard.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
