About The Position
The Daily Living Support Specialist (DLSS) provides services focused on the specific needs of adults with behavioral health diagnoses. The specialist monitors consumers’ ability to function independently in their homes and communities and assists them in maintaining safety and emotional well-being. The position requires travel within a 30-mile radius of the employee’s home and transportation of clients within their communities.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Entry-level computer experience and access to email and the internet.
- Valid Maine driver’s license.
- Proof of vehicle insurance at $50,000/$100,000.
- MHRT/1 certification; the employer provides training at no cost.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the clients’ plans of care guide all service activities.
- Ensure clients’ safety in their homes and communities.
- Attend and participate in at least four hours of clinical supervision per month.
- Complete at least 20 hours of training annually.
- Transport clients within their communities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
