About The Position

The D365 F&O Program Manager is responsible for leading the planning and execution of Komline's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations deployment portfolio. This role owns program execution and delivery governance, ensuring implementations remain on schedule, within approved budgets, and aligned with Komline's operating model as the company continues to grow through acquisitions. The Program Manager works closely with the ERP Platform Manager, who retains overall platform ownership, security and access governance, production support oversight, and long-term platform direction. Working across internal business and IT teams, site leadership, implementation partners, and other stakeholders, this role leads deployment planning through stabilization and transition to ongoing support. The successful candidate will bring strong program controls, engineer-to-order manufacturing knowledge, ERP and D365 F&O experience, and the judgment to surface issues early, drive decisions, and maintain accountability across multiple concurrent workstreams. Reporting to the Vice President, Information Systems, this position is based in Komline's Washington, DC office and requires at least 50% travel, primarily to Komline manufacturing sites and acquisition locations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive ERP project or program management experience, including responsibility for complex, multi-site implementations
  • Demonstrated ownership of implementation budgets, schedules, resource plans, vendor performance, risks, and executive reporting
  • Direct experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or a comparable enterprise ERP platform
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably within made-to-order, engineer-to-order, or project-based manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP deployment disciplines, including process design, data migration, integrations, testing, change management, training, cutover, and stabilization
  • Experience coordinating multiple business functions and operating locations through significant process and technology change
  • Ability to travel at least 50%, including recurring travel to manufacturing sites and newly acquired businesses; travel may increase during discovery, testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization periods
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
  • Experience integrating acquisitions into a common ERP platform and operating model
  • Knowledge of project accounting, project costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and financial controls in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience managing D365 F&O implementation partners and managed services providers
  • PMP, PgMP, or comparable program or project management certification
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools for requirements, work management, testing, risks, and release tracking

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an integrated, multi-site deployment roadmap that accounts for acquisition timing, business readiness, resource capacity, dependencies, and competing priorities
  • Establish schedule and budget baselines, monitor actual performance, maintain forecasts, manage scope and change control, and take corrective action when milestones, costs, or resource commitments begin to deviate
  • Lead implementations with internal Komline resources and implementation partners through discovery, process design, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing, training, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and formal transition to support
  • Partner with corporate and site leaders to assess newly acquired businesses, define D365 F&O deployment approaches, identify gaps and risks, and incorporate each acquisition into the broader ERP roadmap
  • Set clear deliverables and acceptance criteria for systems integrators and vendors; validate staffing and estimates, monitor performance against statements of work, challenge assumptions, and hold partners accountable for quality, schedule, and budget
  • Lead steering committees, program reviews, risk and issue escalation, change control, and executive reporting, ensuring decisions have clear owners and deadlines
  • Align Finance, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, IT, site leadership, and subject-matter experts around standardized processes, local requirements, and deployment commitments
  • Maintain transparent program-level risk, issue, and dependency registers; identify critical-path threats early, drive mitigation plans, and escalate unresolved decisions before they affect cost or schedule
  • Define stage gates and objective readiness criteria for solution design, data, integrations, security, testing, training, cutover, and go-live, and confirm that business owners are prepared to operate successfully
  • Develop realistic internal and external resource plans, identify capacity or capability gaps, and coordinate site participation without compromising business operations
  • Ensure deployments address Komline's made-to-order and engineer-to-order environment, including project costing, percentage-of-completion processes, manufacturing, and related reporting requirements
  • Capture lessons learned, improve the implementation playbook, increase reuse of proven designs and test assets, and strengthen deployment predictability and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide concise, accurate, and forward-looking reporting on milestones, costs, risks, decisions, resource constraints, deployment readiness, and stabilization support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
