The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in software or computer engineering
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken/written).
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge or experience in lean and agile development, and its various concepts such as Scrum, Kanban, and Stories, and tools such as JIRA; or are you are interested and passionate about programming and automation?
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
  • Knowledge of C# or C++
  • Knowledge of web programming languages and continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CICD)

Responsibilities

  • Develop a Graphical User Interface for a tool that automates test execution on hardware and virtual test benches.
  • Develop an automated tool to calibrate our hardware test benches.
  • Improve our simulation wrapper models running on hardware test benches to add a virtual component (hardware – virtual hybrid).
  • Evaluate existing tools in our engine control development process and create change requests to make them more agile or more connected and participate to the implementation of those change requests.
  • Participate in a Proof-of-Concept project to fully automate the engine control system verification process from test request to test execution on a bench, test data generation, results verification, and configuration management.
