About The Position

Based in Montreal, you will be a full contributing member of an Agile DevOps team, gaining hands-on experience with a broad range of technologies including Java, TypeScript, Linux, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and test automation frameworks. Requirements

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfort working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks.
A quality-focused mindset that balances thoroughness with efficiency.
Proactive engagement with the needs of customers and stakeholders.

Solid understanding of Java; familiarity with Linux, including shell scripting.
Experience with relational databases (SQL) and exposure to front-end development (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
Proficiency with version control tools (Git); basic knowledge of Python.
Awareness of application monitoring and troubleshooting concepts.
Bilingual French and English is required for this position.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and software solutions.
Write, test, and debug code, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and scalable software.
Build and improve software tools that support the needs of development teams — such as web-based tools, log analysis tools, debugging tools, and software management tools.
Stay current with advancements in software development, cloud technologies, and data engineering best practices.
Work alongside technical managers and senior data architects to translate architectural designs into functional code and deliverables.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance our product portfolio.
Collaborate with product managers and architects to define requirements for new features.
Design and implement new product features.
Contribute actively within a team-based Agile environment.
