About The Position

This role requires a Refrigeration Engineer Technician with a thorough knowledge of department components, including the location of switches, valves, and controls. The technician must possess basic knowledge of tool usage and be capable of performing minor maintenance tasks such as bearing replacement, chain setting, oil/lube maintenance, and minor troubleshooting. The job involves working overhead on ladders or scaffolding in high areas, as well as stooping or bending below knee level. The technician will take daily instructions from their supervisor and carry out assignments with minimal supervision. Proficiency in using precision instruments like torque wrenches, dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers is necessary. The role also includes dismantling, identifying, repairing, and returning all types of machinery in the department to service in a timely manner. Other duties as required will also be performed.
