About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Cytotechnology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Glens Falls, NY. Cytologists participate in specialized and complex technical tasks involved in the processing and screening of the cytological specimens to detect evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions, ensuring the efficient and accurate testing of patient specimens.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years Cyto Tech Experience
ASCP certification required
Experience with EBUS, EUS, Thyroid FNA Procedures required
Experience with EPIC required
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
Must pass drug screen and background check
Must complete additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

Assisting with the collection of needle aspiration samples
Preparing slides by staining samples
Using microscopes to examine cellular samples
Evaluating samples while following laboratory protocols
Calibrating, troubleshooting, checking and maintaining microscopes and other laboratory equipment
Entering diagnostic information into computer systems
