About The Position

The Cytogenetic Tech Trainee will prepare for employment as a Cytogenetic Technologist. This role involves lectures and practical laboratory training supplemented by instructional objectives or skills to be mastered by the end of each module (rotations). The trainee must complete all text assignments, lectures, discussions, demonstrations, supervised practice, and practical examinations. Competency will be assessed via direct observation and satisfactory performance in the training modules, signed off by the Trainer and Program Manager.
