About The Position

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is hiring a Cylinder Handler in Tacoma, Washington. The role involves handling gas cylinders and related products for delivery, including loading and unloading route trucks and trailers, moving cylinders by rolling or forklift, sorting and counting inventory, and preparing customer orders. The position also includes basic cylinder maintenance, shipment paperwork, and routine and non-routine assignments as directed.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• More than one year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto and from route trucks and trailers.
• Move cylinders by rolling them and operating a forklift.
• Sort empty cylinders by type and check cylinder quantities, styles, and product specifications to support accurate inventory management.
• Review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products onto trucks for delivery.
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting and labeling, and clean the work area.
• Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments.
• Complete routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed.
