About The Position

The Cylinder Processor processes medical and industrial gas cylinders in accordance with established plant guidelines and procedures. The role includes inspecting cylinders before filling, handling and filling products, supporting shipment and inventory activities, and maintaining quality control documentation. The position also involves operating cylinder scales, forklifts, and other plant vehicles.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• More than one year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• Strong mechanical background.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cylinders visually, physically, and by odor to determine whether retesting or repairs are needed before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles, and products, and fill the necessary products.
• Load and unload product from the weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying shipment paperwork.
• Enter quantities, styles, and products filled into the computer to support stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation according to company and governmental procedures.
• Operate a forklift and other plant vehicles.
