About The Position

Paraco, a family-owned propane company, is hiring a Propane-Cylinder Delivery Driver to deliver various types of propane cylinders to residential and commercial customers. The driver is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and following industry safety standards. The role includes daily deliveries, required compliance and company training, customer service, and vehicle and trailer inspections. Work is outdoors in all weather and driving conditions. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with a start time between 3:00 AM and 6:30 AM. Overtime is available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of Class A or Class B CDL experience.
• Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements, or an X combination endorsement; the license may not have an Air Brakes (L) or (Z) restriction.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly throughout the day and bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
• Strong team-player skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented self-starter able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Crane experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Previous bobtail delivery of propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Make daily, safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable bulk and cylinder deliveries.
• Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training.
• Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.
