Cylinder Delivery Driver
About The Position
Paraco is a family-owned propane company that has delivered clean energy for over 50 years and serves eight states in the Northeast. The company is expanding its services to include home comfort through Paraco HVAC, alternative energy, and energy storage systems. The Propane-Cylinder Delivery Driver delivers various types of propane cylinders to residential and commercial customers, provides outstanding customer service, and follows industry safety standards. The role includes daily vehicle and trailer inspections, required compliance and company training, and outdoor work in all weather and driving conditions. It requires regularly lifting and carrying more than 55 pounds, as well as bending, climbing, reaching, and rotating as needed. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with weekly pay and benefits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of Class A or B CDL experience.
- Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements or an X combination; the license may not contain Air Brakes (L) or (Z) restrictions.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements.
- Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly and bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed.

- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
- Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Previous bobtail delivery of propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented self-starter who can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable daily bulk and cylinder deliveries.
- Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training.
- Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service.
- Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.
- Work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
- Regularly lift and carry over 55 pounds and bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed.
