About The Position

The Propane-Cylinder Delivery Driver delivers various types of propane cylinders to residential and commercial customers while providing outstanding customer service and adhering to industry safety standards. The role includes daily vehicle and trailer inspections, required compliance and company training, and work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with a 3:00 AM or 6:30 AM start.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of Class A or B CDL experience.
• Valid CDL with Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements, or an X combination endorsement; the license may not have an Air Brakes (L) or (Z) restriction.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements.
• Ability to lift and carry over 55 pounds regularly and bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Crane experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Previous bobtail delivery of propane, fuel oil, or other hazardous materials.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, punctual, consistent, and reliable daily bulk and cylinder deliveries.
• Participate in and complete all required industry compliance and company training.
• Provide consistent, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
• Regularly lift and carry over 55 pounds throughout the day, and bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed.
