Cycle Counter - 1st shift - Materials - Grenada
About The Position
The Cycle Counter/Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity by ensuring correct delivery, performing cycle counts, random audits and reconciliation of inventory variances. This role involves performing work within takt/cycle time and per work instructions, providing and processing the movement of material to the point of use, and keeping the work area clean and organized. The position also includes entering received material into the computer, maintaining and ordering shipping supplies, pulling parts for other cells, and training others in various areas.
Requirements
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of Dynamics AX Material Handler and Cycle Inventory Menu
- Certified forklift operator
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a material handler
Responsibilities
- Perform work within takt/cycle time
- Perform work per work instructions
- Provide and process movement of material to point of use
- Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat
- Inform proper personnel of material shortage
- Enter Received material in the computer and maintain and order shipping supplies
- Check in and place materials from other cells
- Pull parts for other cells and transfer in the computer and enter scrap tickets (ST)
- Train others in all areas
- Physically count components and parts to correlate with in-house inventory
- Update transactions in computer system
- Cycle count process
