About The Position

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, is seeking to fill an Inventory Cycle Counter role in our manufacturing facility located in Bedford Park, IL. You will be responsible for accurate material handling, inventory tracking, and cycle count functions. This role involves completing cycle counts and reconciliations, running various inventory reports, conducting audits on production sheets, managing off-spec and old material, coordinating physical inventories, and assisting with sampling efforts. The position also requires managing virtual inventories and shipments in SAP, clearing SAP error logs, and training personnel on SAP transactions. An active role in the WMS implementation and sustainment of the system is expected, along with adherence to all safety and plant procedures and policies. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of Inventory Management or Supply Chain experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in supply chain operations or related field
• SAP experience
• Forklift experience
• Excel and Power BI experience

Responsibilities

• Complete cycle counts and reconciliations
• Run various reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis including morning production reports, weekly cycle counting reports, and monthly variance reports
• Conduct audits on production sheets and other pertinent inventory documents to verify accuracy
• Manage off-spec and old material to ensure proper work-off or disposal of material, conduct scrapping of materials, and track the disposition purpose
• Coordinate and lead physical inventories
• Help with sampling efforts from the Materials Control side
• Count and review label stock to ensure proper stock
• Keep track of pallet counts and order pallets when needed
• Assist in daily activities including labeling, counting, planning, etc. as needed
• Manage virtual inventories and shipments in SAP, audit production receipts and receiving amounts to verify accuracy in SAP, clear SAP error logs, and train personnel on SAP transactions including inventory and warehouse management systems
• Active role in the WMS implementation and sustainment of the system
• Follow all safety and plant procedures and policies
• Other duties as assigned
