Requirements
- Must attend and pass the Johnson Controls manufacturing Training and Safety class (Exception: Department 810).
- 1+ years of work experience in a distribution center environment is highly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Previous experience in cycle counting highly desired.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to accurately count product and convert counts into meters, feet, etc.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and Operational Method Sheets (OMS).
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be knowledgeable of and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Must complete the forklift training class and understand the Johnson Controls Manufacturing process and be detailed oriented.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of work experience in a distribution center environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Ensures a high level of accuracy of inventory levels on campus by performing cycle counts daily, weekly and quarterly.
- Resolves any and all discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensures the integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventory via cycle counting and other duties assigned.
- Executes the Inventory cycle count per the Inventory Cycle Count Schedule.
- Segregates parts with visual signs of damage or deterioration.
- Documents on specified Business Unit inventory cycle count work sheet the results of the count and identifying the counts that exceed their established discrepancy tolerances.
- Re-counts all parts that are out of tolerance.
- Effectively communicates with two-way radio.
