About The Position

The Cycle Counter is responsible for generating daily inventory cycle count sheets based on ABC analysis for raw materials and finished goods. This role involves reporting inventory discrepancies and shortages to management daily, researching and resolving root causes of inventory inaccuracies, and collaborating with all departments to ensure inventory accuracy. The Cycle Counter will also work with the Inventory Control Specialist on aging inventory, assist with Spoilage Spillage Report (SSR) adjustments, and maintain records of all inventory transfers and disposals. Additionally, this position assists with third-party warehouse inventories, performs various duties to aid in the month-end closing process, and conducts periodic physical inventory counts semi-annually. The role also includes processing cycle count requests daily, assisting with shelf-life extensions, performing system maintenance for accurate records, issuing daily COA/CDR reports, and handling inventory-related forms. Cycle counts and re-ordering for non-inventoried items and the Tank Farm are also part of the responsibilities, along with other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2-3 years’ warehouse experience.
  • 2-year experience operating a Forklift.
  • Proficiency with PC operating system, office support software, including MS Excel Outlook and RF Scanner.
  • Experience with ERP Platforms.
  • Highly organized, detail-orientated, self-motivated, & able to work well with others.
  • Excellent administrative judgment with the ability to multi-task & coordinate tasks that support the staff.
  • Strong team-oriented personality that works well in a fast pace, ever changing environment.
  • Strong analytic & communication skills, both verbal & written.

Responsibilities

  • Issue inventory related forms when needed – CDR, stock conversion.
  • Non-inventoried items cycle count & re-ordering.
  • Tank Farm cycle count & re-order.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all Company standards, policies, & procedures.
  • Participate in assigned meetings.
