About The Position

VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. The Cybersecurity Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data systems and networks.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and encryption.
Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and antivirus software.
Familiarity with industry regulations and standards such as HIPAA and PCI DSS.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to protect sensitive data and systems.
Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continuously improve our security posture.
Work closely with IT and other teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of third-party systems and services.
