About The Position

The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to share your experience in Cybersecurity and compliance to support our contract and safeguard our nation? As a systems security and network security engineer, you can demonstrate your hands-on experience in Federal security management and apply your deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and management. We need your experience to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that will secure client IT environments and systems. On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems. You’ll use your curiosity for technology and market trends to further research and develop security solutions. Using your knowledge and experience in information systems security, you’ll assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls. In this role, you’ll closely impact federal client projects by security their IT security architecture to safeguard their mission systems. What You’ll Work On: Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. Implement infrastructure and cyber security controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises. Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas, and leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing multiple complex projects
  • 10+ years of experience managing personnel
  • 10+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role
  • Experience in managing cybersecurity compliance with industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS
  • Experience in federal security management, incident response, and threat intelligence
  • Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and provide clear, actionable guidance during security incidents
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Certified Information Systems Security Specialist (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Experience in managing cybersecurity compliance with industry standards like NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS in regard to data centers preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
