This is a full-time temporary position expected to last approximately through September 2026. The role involves applying knowledge of Cyber policy, procedures, and workforce structure to develop, implement, and maintain a cyber-secure environment. The specialist supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software IA problems within the enclave environment. They are expected to use extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish enclave security goals, work independently to solve problems, and may lead or supervise IAT personnel. The position also requires serving as a recognized expert in developing strategies, policies, and programs related to cyberspace operations, compiling and updating cybersecurity guidance, and advising senior leadership and supervisory personnel on cybersecurity challenges, issues, improvements, analysis, audit, and remediation for the protection of Missile Defense Agency information and resources.
