About The Position

Horizon Industries Limited is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a full-time position supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) onsite in Columbus, Ohio, or Richmond, Virginia. The role performs routine project tasks addressing specialized cybersecurity problems, including integrating electronic processes or methodologies to resolve system-wide issues and technology problems related to cybersecurity requirements.

The engineer analyzes information security requirements and uses analytical, systematic approaches to resolve workflow, organizational, and planning problems. The position provides security engineering support for information systems planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration. The role lists Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support as its primary DCWF work role and Network Operations Specialist as its secondary work role, both at the intermediate proficiency level.

Requirements

• At least seven years of relevant IT experience.
• Active DOD Top Secret clearance.
• Four years of experience creating customized signatures using SNORT.
• Intermediate proficiency in DCWF Work Role 521: Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support.
• Intermediate proficiency in DCWF Work Role 441: Network Operations Specialist.
• Experience or proficiency with Trellix IPS Manager and Check Point Threat Prevention Specialist (CTPS).

Responsibilities
