As part of our continued growth, EY Canada is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Managed Security Services (MSS) leadership team. This role is based in Canada and embedded within an established, high‑performing team, while representing and leveraging EY’s global MSS capabilities, platforms, and delivery ecosystems. The successful candidate will play a critical role in accelerating growth across Industrials and Energy clients, including Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Mining, and Advanced Manufacturing. This is a senior, client‑facing role that blends market leadership, sales acceleration, and delivery assurance, working closely with Sector leaders, global MSS competency teams, and EY’s multidisciplinary practices. Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, managed services, or technology consulting, with a strong portion focused on Industrials and/or Energy sectors.
  • Demonstrated success leading sales growth, large pursuits, and account expansion for managed or recurring services.
  • Strong understanding of Managed Security Services, such as SOC operations, threat detection and response, identity services, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
  • Proven ability to operate at the executive level, building trusted client relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with global delivery models and matrixed organizations.
  • Track record of balancing commercial, delivery, and risk responsibilities in complex engagements.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and proposal‑writing capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion for Managed Security Services across Industrials & Energy accounts.
  • Partner with Industry and Account Leadership to shape account growth strategies, pipeline development, and expansion into new buying centers.
  • Position EY’s MSS capabilities as a strategic, long‑term managed services partner, aligned to modernization, resilience, and operational outcomes.
  • Build and maintain trusted C‑suite and security leadership relationships within priority Industrials & Energy clients.
  • Identify, prioritize, and develop target accounts, ensuring clear value propositions and long‑term account plans.
  • Act as an executive sponsor to ensure client satisfaction, renewals, and service expansion.
  • Lead the identification, shaping, and qualification of MSS opportunities within existing and new accounts.
  • Collaborate with global and regional MSS teams to assemble the right pursuit teams, solutions, and commercial models.
  • Drive disciplined pursuit execution, from early client conversations through contract close.
  • Oversee the development of compelling MSS proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations.
  • Ensure proposals clearly articulate EY’s differentiated value, global delivery model, and industry relevance.
  • Align service scope, commercials, risk, and delivery commitments with client objectives and EY standards.
  • Provide senior oversight to ensure high‑quality delivery of Managed Security Services engagements.
  • Partner with delivery leaders to monitor performance, SLAs, risk, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the evolution of delivery frameworks, operational models, and best practices across MSS engagements.
  • Monitor industry trends, client challenges, and regulatory drivers impacting cybersecurity in Industrials & Energy.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, market points of view, and client insight materials.
  • Represent EY in key client forums, executive briefings, and industry events.
