About The Position

LMI is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist to support the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in Washington, DC. We are seeking an energetic self-starter who has expert consulting and customer service skills and is focused on developing practical and efficient solutions to administrative challenges. The Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist will support the program by ensuring all systems and workflows align with cybersecurity and federal compliance standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience.
  • Proven experience managing data protection and conducting federal audits.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity standards preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular assessments of cybersecurity risks and implement mitigation actions.
  • Maintain ongoing compliance with NASA OCIO cybersecurity and FISMA standards.
  • Develop security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs).
  • Identify vulnerabilities in database performance or application use and recommend remedial solutions.
