We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to support Navy cybersecurity, system authorization, and Risk Management Framework activities in support of NAVSEA Professional Support Services for Engineering Support.

Requirements

  • Candidate must currently possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
  • This position is an IT-I Critical Sensitive Position.
  • Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification.
  • A high school degree, or a GED, and more than twenty (20) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area.
  • A master's degree in a relevant field and ten (10) years of relevant experience in cyber security, information system management, software development, design or authorization or related functional area.
  • Candidate must currently possess an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
  • This position is an IT-I Critical Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees vulnerability scans, checklist completion, and risk analysis to support comprehensive system evaluations.
  • Reviews and compiles security artifacts and documentation to ensure completeness and compliance prior to submission for ATO decision.
  • Conducts and validates control assessments in accordance with DoD and DON guidelines, ensuring systems meet security requirements.
  • Manages end-to-end Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, including coordination of Security Authorization Packages and ATO execution planning.
  • IT functions such as network administration, engineering, or cybersecurity.
